Post-Run Report: March 28, 2017

Wow, that picture makes me look old! Today’s run was okay, but the heat made it far more difficult than I thought it would. I thought I was running a good, fast pace. Turned out it wasn’t nearly as fast as I thought it was. Oh well. I definitely got my workout.

I started with 50 sit ups. I could have done more, but my tail bone was still sore from Saturday’s sit ups. I will need to use some sort of yoga mat or something from now on to keep from hurting my lower back. It’s still sore four hours later.

I also did 70 push ups. They were pretty comfortable and I didn’t want to push it. My tail bone and butt were hurting pretty badly when I did my push ups which is why I didn’t do more. Hopefully the pain will subside as I keep doing them.

All in all, it was a positive day. I weighed myself after the run and came in at 173.7 lbs. that’s 1.5 lbs over my lowest, so I’m happy. This ties the lowest I’ve been since coming back from Spain. Just 8 more to my final goal!
